Each nursing visit is uniquely identified
by patient, nurse, and start time of visit. Activities performed
during the visit are listed. The nursing visit time sheets
automatically generate an invoice billing for nurse's time
and any additional items listed. These items are separate
from any prescription items. Nurses can easily select in a
list of ancillary items by selection of a macro. Notes regarding
upcoming nursing visits will print on the daily calendar report.

Notes can be classified by type (for example
RPH, RN, SALES, REIM; you define your own types as appropriate
to your business). Chart notes can be tied to any combination
of fields in the header including patient and various patient
data, such as hospital, physician, etc. in addition to an
invoice, nursing visit and/or prescription.
Each electronic chart note can be as long
as 12 single-spaced typewritten pages, which is much longer
than is ever likely to be used in practice. There is no limit
to the number of notes per patient. The time-stamp of chart
entry and the login ID of the person entering the chart note
are automatically recorded. Once the chart note is saved it
cannot be changed or deleted; if a change is required then
another note indicating the change can be entered.
